de Architekten Cie. designs Rotterdam’s Weenapoint.

Maarsen Group, together with the municipality of Rotterdam, has selected de Architekten Cie. for their prestigious project, the redevelopment of Rotterdam Weenapoint. After an ambitious competition, its timeless, sophisticated design and dynamic mixture of functions have been decisive for the choice of de Architekten Cie.

The existing office complex Weenapoint, directly across from the new Rotterdam Central Station, will be partially demolished and replaced by new buildings. To increase the quality of this part of the city, apartments, a hotel and a vibrant mix of amenities are added in the plinth. The redevelopment will be carried out in phases so that current tenants can move seamlessly into the new building. The first phase will be completed in mid 2014.
