Villa de Boer, Enschede

Villa de Boer combines airy spaciousness inside with discrete privacy to the outside. The brick façade is subtly differentiated by large, reflective expanses of glass. Two light wells and large glass-fronted façades overlooking the green pedestrian boulevard outside make the heart of the house light, transparent and spacious. The living room and the terrace are spatial continuations of each other. The perforated red brick of the curved garden walls muffles any noise, ensuring peace and quiet in the outdoor spaces.
