Hoto Passage, Zagreb

The future of downtown Zagreb will improve of the inside area of the blocks, creating the new areas full of urban dynamics with a high participation of city users. The new passage in the middle of the block expands into a covered, climatically regulated square, a new city lounge. The first two floors are commercial and public programs. On the second floor is the office space while the upper levels are reserved for apartments. The façade of the block is articulated with panels, designed as a lace surface. The panels act at the same time as the sun and the sight protection. Open or closed panels are discreetly revealing the life in the new city fabric.
