CHV Site, Veghel.
The Noordkade of the CHV Site is designated to be transformed into a new second centre of Veghel. For this purpose the listed industrial buildings, dating from the early 20th century, shall be preserved and redeveloped as cultural institutions, creative businesses, nautical shops and food-related recreation. The site borders on two different worlds: on one side the typical Brabant small-town of Veghel and on the other side the large-scale industrial (food)processing plants. The urban planning framework accommodates both scales. Individual companies are provided for in smaller premises at the rear of the site, whereas larger businesses will be placed on the sunny quay-side.
